1. Who this notice is for
This notice covers visitors to yorn.si and people who contact the Yorn team, a Zynplex initiative. For questions about the operator or the handling of your information, use support@yorn.si. External sites you choose to visit have their own privacy practices.
2. Information used today
Demo inputs are handled locally by the page and are not submitted by the demo to a Yorn backend. We store your language choice in localStorage and a dismissed language suggestion in sessionStorage. Production builds use a service worker to cache public pages and assets on your device. The hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses, requested URLs, browser details and access or error logs to deliver and protect the site. If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you send.
3. Why information is processed
We use these data to serve and secure the website, remember your language, answer your requests and investigate incidents. Where a legal basis is required, the relevant basis may be responding to your request, our legitimate interest in operating a secure website, a legal obligation, or consent for an optional purpose that requires it. We do not add advertising pixels or third-party analytics SDKs to this landing, and we do not sell the information you email us.
4. Providers and external links
Hosting and email providers may process the technical data and correspondence necessary to provide their services. Their infrastructure may be in a different country from yours; applicable transfer safeguards are required where the law calls for them. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to address abuse. Following an external link or sending email also involves the provider you choose. We do not give visitors access to other people's support messages.
5. Retention and security
Language preferences stay on your device until you change or clear them; the suggestion dismissal lasts for the browser session. Cached files remain until refreshed, evicted or cleared. Support correspondence and technical logs are kept only as needed for their purpose, incident handling or legal obligations; ask us about the retention applicable to your request. We limit access to information needed for support and operation, but no online system can promise absolute security. Do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive records.
6. Your choices and rights
You can clear browser storage and contact support@yorn.si to request access, correction or deletion of personal information we hold. Depending on the law that applies, you may also request portability or restriction, object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to your data protection authority. We may need proportionate identity checks before acting. This landing makes no real automated eligibility decisions about you and is not directed at collecting children's data; contact us if a child has sent personal information. We will update this notice before new features change these practices.
